Sharetribe Partner Program General Terms

Your Participation

By participating in the Program, You acknowledge and agree that Sharetribe has the right to modify these General Terms at any time. All such changes will be posted at https://www.sharetribe.com/partnerstack-program-terms Continued use of the Program after changes are posted constitutes Your consent to the updated terms. Sharetribe may end the Program at any time without notice.

Account Creation

For account creation, PartnerStack’s terms will apply. You must comply with the platform’s requirements and guidelines for registering an account. Sharetribe is not responsible for issues arising from your PartnerStack account, and any disputes regarding account creation must be addressed with PartnerStack directly.

Program Links and Usage

Once enrolled in the Program, You will receive a unique PartnerStack Partner Link ("Partner Link") to use on your site or in your communications. You must follow the provided guidelines when using this link and associated graphics. Any materials containing Sharetribe's intellectual property (such as logos or trademarks) are granted to You under a non-exclusive, limited license strictly for Program-related use.

You are responsible for ensuring the proper use of these links. Only links using the specific PartnerStack link formats will qualify for Referral Fees. Any other links will not be eligible for referral compensation.

Referral Fees and Payment

You are entitled to Referral Fees only for purchases made by Eligible Customers who follow the Special Links provided through the Program. The Referral Fees are based on purchases made by customers who meet the criteria set by Sharetribe (through the PartnerStack platform).

Referral Fees are processed via PartnerStack, and governed by the PartnerStack terms.

Publicity and Representation

You are prohibited from issuing press releases about the Program or the Agreement. Additionally, You may not misrepresent your relationship with Sharetribe, including implying an affiliation or partnership unless explicitly allowed in these General Terms or the PartnerStack Agreement.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for all aspects of your site’s operation, including technical maintenance, content, and compliance with relevant legal requirements. This includes ensuring that your use of the Partner Links does not infringe upon third-party rights and complies with applicable privacy laws.

Compliance with Laws

By participating in the Program, You agree to comply with all relevant laws and regulations. This includes any laws related to data privacy, email marketing, and advertising.

Prohibited Practices

You must not engage in certain advertising practices, including bidding on Sharetribe-related trademarks, using them in domain names or keywords for Pay-Per-Click ads, or using any prohibited keywords that would lead to confusion with Sharetribe’s brand.

Limitation of Liability

Sharetribe will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program. Our total liability is limited to the amount of Referral Fees paid to You under the Agreement.

Termination

Either party may terminate the Agreement at any time, without cause, by providing written notice. Any outstanding Referral Fees will be paid for transactions completed prior to termination. Sharetribe reserves the right to terminate the Agreement immediately in case of any breach of these General Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes related to the Agreement shall be settled by arbitration under the Rules for Expedited Arbitration of the Finland Chamber of Commerce in Helsinki, Finland.

The language of the arbitration shall be English.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sharetribe reserves the right to claim any unpaid fees in a public court.
