I have a working sharetribe installation running on Ubuntu 16.04. The idea is to let people borrow some stuff (free of charge).
If I enable stripe-integration I can turn on the availability (per hour) function which i need.
BUT
By enabling stripe-integration i force the “seller” and “buyer” to add their payment details before they can borrow the equipment, which I absololutely do not want.
Does anyone know how I keep availability but remove the need to complete the “payment details” under profile? IE IBAN…
Indeed right now, all availability features require the user of online payment. We may build support for them without online payments in the future but this isn’t scheduled yet.
Don’t hesitate to build this feature yourself if this is a key requirement for your project!
Hi @thomasmalbaux not sure if this was addressed does Sharetribe now support Availability for Non-Online Payment. For example if we want to just allow borrowing between 2 parties?
This is not something that has been built in Sharetribe Go (hosted or Community Edition).
I think some people have built it using the Community Edition, but I’m not aware of anyone having contributed their code to. Hopefully someone noticing your message will do it!
