The Lean Marketplace - out now!

If you’re thinking about starting a marketplace business, reading a book on the topic is a great way to build context. While there are several excellent books about the sharing economy, online marketplaces, or platform businesses in general, we felt that one was missing: a practical guide that strikes the right balance between theory and practice.

Over the last two years, we have been gradually writing that book in the form of our online marketplace guide on how to build a marketplace. The reactions to it have been extraordinary and have exceeded all our expectations. We have also been getting frequent requests to turn it into a proper book, both digital and printed versions.

For this edition, we have rewritten large parts of the existing guide and updated numbers, links, and facts where necessary. We have received useful feedback from the community and tried to update the content accordingly.
