Any listing created by users in your marketplace will be displayed in your Console, which has admin tools and views to help you understand, edit, and manage your marketplace listings.
You can view your marketplace listing data in Manage > Listings.
Below, you can learn more about the admin capabilities available in Console.

Key admin actions
As a marketplace admin, you can manage your listing by performing the key actions listed below. To do this, click on a listing and click the three dots:
Close listing: When a listing is closed, it is hidden from users except for the listing author. The listing cannot be searched, found nor can it be booked or purchased. The listing can be made visible again if it's re-opened.
View listing as the author: Visit the listing as if you were logged in as the user who posted it.
Delete listing: Deleting a listing removes it permanently from your marketplace and your Console. This action is irreversible.
Approve listing: If a listing is pending approval, you can approve it by clicking on the green button at the bottom of the listing card.
Viewing and modifying data
In your Console, each listing contains several data fields, many of which you can edit as a marketplace admin. To modify these fields, click on the "edit" button indicated by a pencil icon next to the respective field:
Listing title: The title of a listing.
Listing description: The detailed description of a listing.
Listing ID: This is a unique identifier that is automatically generated when their account is created. It cannot be modified.
Public data: This refers to information about a listing that is visible to all marketplace users. It includes the Listing Type, which categorizes the listing, and any Custom Listing Fields that have been added to provide additional details and specifications about the listing.
Tip: You can modify a listing using the login as user feature. Being logged in as a marketplace user allows you to visualize and understand the changes you are making to the listing by using the marketplace's listing creation and editing wizard.
Additionally, there are other data field types primarily used for code customization, building integrations, and automating processes using Zapier. These fields include:
Protected Data
Private Data
Metadata
Events: This is an advanced tool designed for developers to query and retrieve historical data about a listing. It utilizes the Sharetribe Command Line Interface (CLI) to access a comprehensive record of a listing's activities and interactions within the marketplace.
Exporting data
You can download your listing data in a .csv file format. This can be useful if you need to perform operations or analysis that are not possible directly within the Console. For example, exporting your listing data enables you to conduct detailed analyses, such as determining the number of listings created within a specific month.
Shortcut links
When navigating a listing's card in your Console, there are several links designed to streamline your management tasks and quickly access listing-related data:
Listing author: Clicking on the provider icon takes you to the manage users page, displaying the author of the listing.
Transactions: Clicking on this link takes you to the manage transactions page, displaying all transactions that involved the specific listing.
Reviews: Clicking on this link takes you to the manage reviews page, where you can view all reviews associated with the listing.
