What are social logins and Single Sign-on (SSO)

Social login with Facebook and/or Google reduces signup and login friction for your users in your marketplace.

In your Sharetribe marketplace, users can create a user account and log in using their Facebook or Google account (this is known as Single Sign-On, or SSO).

When using their Facebook or Google credentials, users don't need to remember a separate username and password for your marketplace based on Sharetribe. Their email address and profile picture is automatically imported from Facebook or Google.

This reduces friction: it is then easier for users to sign up and log in your marketplace.
