Your marketplace domain is the URL where your marketplace application is accessed on the web. It can be a Sharetribe domain or a Custom domain. You can manage your Domain in General > Domain.

You may have multiple marketplace applications, one per environment (Test, Dev, Live). Each of these applications is connected to its own domain. You can learn more about environments from this article.

Domain in the Test environment

In Test, your marketplace URL is automatically set when you create your account and is in the format https://example-randomid.mysharetribe-test.com. This URL points to your test marketplace.

You cannot change this URL in the no-code mode.

In Test, a custom domain cannot be configured.

Domain in the Dev environment

In Live, your marketplace URL is automatically set when you go live in the format https://example.mysharetribe.com. This URL points to your live marketplace.

If you have configured a custom domain in the Live environment, the Sharetribe domain will redirect to it.

Custom domain in the Live environment

In Live, you can configure your own custom domain, starting from the Pro plan, by following these instructions.

If you transition to Custom code mode, then a custom domain is configured in your custom codebase directly instead of Console. Learn more about transitioning to Custom code mode.
