Your marketplace lets users post listings and start transactions. How those listings work in your marketplace for your providers and customers depends on the Listing type. Listing types determine what kind of listings are created on your marketplace and how transactions with those listings happen.

A transaction is created in your marketplace anytime one user interacts with another, such as when they send a message or make a booking request. How these interactions start and what next steps are possible for both sides are modelled by the Transaction process of the Listing type.
