You can edit the following metadata tags:
Page title: This metadata tag sets the title shown in a browser tab. Search engines might use it as the search result title.
Page description: Search engines might use this metadata tag's content to give more information about your page in their search results page.
Page title for social media: The page title used specifically when your site is shared on social media.
Page description for social media: The page description used specifically when your site is shared on social media.
Social media image: The image that shows when the your site is shared on social media. The image should have a 1.91:1 aspect ratio and a minimum size of 1200x630 pixels. If the uploaded image is bigger or has the wrong ratio, it might get cropped by the social media engine.
Edit the metadata of some default pages (search page, login/signup page)
Some default pages such as the Search page or the Login/Signup page also have a page title and description.
These can be adjusted using Marketplace texts. To do so, look for keys that have schemaTitle

What are the default metadata tags
Default pages (About, landing page, ...) have some "Change Me" content as the default metadata.
When sharing your marketplace somewhere, if you notice something like the following:
Then go to the "SEO & Social" tab when editing your page, and adjust to your own content.
How your content pages are indexed and shared
How your site's content pages are indexed (and shown) in search engines and social media sites depends on your content and the shared-to-site itself. Different sites may show your content differently. Even though you guide social media and search sites to use certain information (via the metadata tags), they may ignore tags in favor of richer content from your content page.
β
For best results, try to use the same text for all title and description tags. Make the description tags as descriptive as possible without being overly long.
It may take a few days for search engines and social media platforms to index your changes. With some sites, it is possible to influence this time. For example, you can use Google Search Console to notify Google about your site and help their system index your site faster.
