presenting our marketplace; we started with sharetribe GO white label solution for 6 months then had to make some customization. almost 3 years nowâŚgrowing slowly but surely (i guess). Love to share with entrepreneurs about their challenges. Our main challenge? trust, marketing, growth. I guess we are in a small market. We calculate that we reach 15% of the market share in 2 cities after 6 months there. I am concerned about others are doing.
What we do?
We offer students, digital nomads and young profesionnals a marketplace where they can rent a bed, a room or an appartement online straight with the landlord.

Our main difference is we donât pass money to the landlord ahead, so we have a less important first payment. âbuyersâ just pay the booking deposit to book their room.
Next step is to grow to others cities, be less local and more global. We have seen people looking for the same experience worldwide even if there is good local options (eg. Airbnb, Uber, AmazonâŚ), people tends to be confortable with something they already know (refering by a friend, already testedâŚ).
Our team is young and pationnate, but we also questionned ourselves a lot.
We measure a lot everything we do (bounce rate, conversion rate, cacâŚ), and lack of benchmark sometimes for this kind of local marketplace.
